Profile:
Laura is the chair of the Immigration
group at Fredrikson & Byron. Her practice primarily
involves representing clients in immigration matters
with special emphasis on arts and business-related immigration.
Laura represents foreign artists, entertainers, athletes,
engineers, scientists, medical personnel, and other
professionals in nonimmigrant and immigrant visa matters.
In addition, Laura handles numerous cases for exceptionally
talented individuals or those whose work is in the national
interest. She also assists individuals in cases involving
family immigration, political asylum, and naturalization.
The Minnesota Advocates for Human Rights Award was given
to Laura in 1998.
