Mr. Garfinkel is the founder and Managing Partner of Garfinkel Immigration Law Firm (Garfinkel Immigration), one of the largest immigration law firms/practice groups in the Carolinas. The firm is exclusively engaged in the practice of immigration and nationality law. Prior to establishing Garfinkel Immigration, Mr. Garfinkel served as the partner in charge of the Immigration Law practice at the Charlotte office of Parker, Poe, Adams & Bernstein, one of the Carolinas largest law firms.
A former Chairman of the Carolinas Chapter of the American Immigration Lawyers Association (AILA), Mr. Garfinkel is 1 of 18 attorneys certified as a specialist in Immigration Law by the N.C. State Bar and currently serves as Chair of the Bar’s Immigration Specialization Committee. Mr. Garfinkel as formerly the Chapter Chair of the Carolinas Chapter of the American Immigration Lawyers Association (AILA) and served on the Board of Directors of AILA. He has spoken at the last five (5) AILA Annual Conferences and routinely speaks on immigration and naturalization topics at regional and national conferences.
