Michael Maggio is chair of Maggio & Kattar, P.C., a nationally recognized, full service immigration law firm. He is an authority on numerous complex areas of immigration law and has been named “Washington’s best immigration lawyer” by The Washingtonian magazine. Michael also is listed in The Best Lawyers in America, International Who's Who of Business Immigration Lawyers, and Chambers Global. In addition to business immigration law, Michael has extensive experience in immigration litigation, waivers of inadmissibility, and formulating political solutions to complex immigration problems.
A past Chair of the American Immigration Lawyers Association (AILA) District of Columbia Chapter, Michael is active in numerous other immigrant rights organizations. He has served as an Adjunct Professor of immigration law at numerous law schools, and has worked as a lobbyist on Capitol Hill before becoming an attorney.
